Brian Scott Williams is the Founder and President of Grey Wolf Consulting, bringing nearly 37 years of combined experience in law enforcement, executive protection consulting, firearms instruction, and tactical training. He is the author of Welcome to the Real World: A Dangerous Place to Be Caught Unprepared! and the creator of The O.E.T. System™ for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) engagements.
Throughout his career, Brian has earned recognition for his expertise and service, including a Commendation for Bravery from the Lake Housatonic Authority Marine Police in 1995 and appointment to the Connecticut State Police Firearms Advisory Council in 2000.
A certified NRA Training Counselor and law enforcement instructor, Brian is credentialed by the State of Connecticut as both a Basic Criminal Justice Instructor and a Law Enforcement/Security Firearms Instructor. His advanced training includes instructor-level certifications and specialized coursework through Heckler & Koch International Training Division, Sig Sauer Academy, DEF-TEC Law Enforcement Training Division, and other leading organizations.
In addition to his firearms and tactical expertise, Brian is a certified NAUI Master Scuba Diver with training in underwater rescue techniques. He is also a former Emergency Medical Technician in Connecticut and previously served as Chief Training Officer for a volunteer ambulance corps, where he developed and implemented comprehensive training programs for emergency response personnel.
Neil Gesuero has served as a Senior Staff Instructor with Grey Wolf Consulting since the company's founding. Prior to joining Grey Wolf, he held the same position with Williams Associates Protective Services, the predecessor organization to Grey Wolf Consulting.
A Patron Life Member of the National Rifle Association, Neil holds NRA instructor certifications in Basic Pistol, Personal Protection Inside the Home, Home Firearms Safety, and Refuse To Be A Victim®. He also holds the distinction of being the first instructor ever certified in Grey Wolf Consulting’s O.E.T. System.
With nearly two decades of instructional experience and more than twelve years of tactical firearms deployment experience, Neil has earned a reputation as Grey Wolf Consulting’s resident revolver expert. He provides clients with comprehensive firearms training, ranging from fundamental marksmanship and defensive tactics to intermediate- level skills development, while also supporting the delivery of the company’s advanced training programs.
Committed to professional development, Neil continually refines and expands his expertise through ongoing training with Grey Wolf’s senior staff and other highly respected instructors throughout the firearms and tactical training industry.
Danny Portes brings nearly two decades of experience in security and state corrections, having served for 10 years as a Correctional Officer. Throughout his career, he developed extensive expertise in managing high-stress environments, conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and maintaining safety and order. These skills have been further strengthened through years of martial arts instruction and practical training.
Driven by a passion for firearms education and personal defense, Danny advanced his professional development under the mentorship of Brian S. Williams and completed additional firearms training through respected organizations, including the Sig Sauer Academy. His commitment to excellence has earned him certifications as both an NRA and USCCA Instructor.
As a Staff Instructor with Grey Wolf Consulting, Danny is dedicated to delivering professional, safety-focused firearms training. He plays a key role in teaching the Grey Wolf Consulting Connecticut Blue Card Preparatory Course, a program designed to equip students with the foundational knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to successfully complete the full certification course.
Danny is committed to providing high-quality instruction that emphasizes safety, situational awareness, responsible firearms handling, and practical skill development. His goal is to ensure every student leaves better prepared, more confident, and capable of making sound decisions in real-world situations.
